As agreed between the AMaTUC partners during the kick-off meeting in Cluj-Napoca last January 2016, the University of Applied Sciences of Aachen (ACUAS) will be in charge of organising the 1st project summer school.
The partner ACUAS will take advantage of their past experience in organising summer schools on Additive Manufacturing for students. This year their summer school will include several Romanian students from TUCN to learn, exchange and raise their skills in the field of AM technologies and 3D printers. The summer school will provide a comprehensive, theoretical approach to 3D technology combined with hands-on experience.
The 6-day event will take place the 22-27 August 2016 in the GoetheLab for Additive Manufacturing at ACUAS. After one week of delving into the 3D printing topic, the participants will be able to:
This summer school is open to any international students interested by AM technology. The applicants must be proficient in English and have basic knowledge of manufacturing technique. More information on the summer school are available on GoetheLab website.
